contentXXL training and solution partner Xparo GmbH from Nuremberg has turned its own company website into a presentation portal for the Microsoft .NET based Business Content Management System (CMS) contentXXL. Xparo has been closely cooperating with contentXXL International since 2005 and has already completed more than 20 Internet projects with the CMS. Xparo’s key competence is development of software solutions based on Microsoft .NET.
The recently re-launched website has not only been incorporated with contentXXL, but functions as an example for multiple modules and features of the CMS. All implemented modules of contentXXL are comprehensively presented in the website.
Furthermore, the portal meets the W3C XHTML standard. XHTML is an abbreviation for 'Extensible Hyper Text Mark-up Language' and is a standard of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). Complying with this standard ensures the website will be compatible with the next generation of Web browsers.

By using contentXXL to manage its website, Xparo is not only a contentXXL partner but also a model customer. The company shows examples of the employed functions and modules on the website to give visitors an idea of how the Business Content Management System contentXXL works. In addition, more components of the contentXXL system are being presented, among them modules for a shop, an events calendar and possibilities for polling application.
Zooming 3D models online
Additionally, the eRez Imaging Server is ready for testing in the Xparo web portal. This server provides the means to display visually demanding and interactive presentations on the Internet, for instance of products or services, and has been integrated seamlessly into contentXXL as a third party solution by Xparo. The eRez module makes it possible to zoom and rotate complex 2D and 3D graphics and to skim through online product catalogues, brochures, books or magazines just as in a printed book. The application is completely browser based and does not require any software installation on the user’s part.
W3C XHTML compatibility
The W3C standard XHTML, that Xparo strictly adhered to on its new website, shows that contentXXL is future proof and a part of the newest generation of websites.
